The American Bamboo Society

The ABS website has a lot of information regarding bamboo including the renowned Source List (updated and published yearly in April) which lists nearly all the bamboos that have been sold in the US.


The Northern California Chapter of The American Bamboo Society

The NCCABS web page has information about the chapter and a calendar of local bamboo events. Guests are always welcome.


Acapulco Rocks & Soil Products, Inc.

They carry a wide selection of rock, stone, soil, and amendments. We like their 'Nursery Mix' for potting up plants. They have some large timber bamboo in raised beds, black bamboo along one fence line, and some potted bamboos (not for sale) near the office.

They carry a wide selection of rock, stone, soil and amendments. We like their 'Multi-Purpose Mix' for potting up plants. They have a variety of bamboos (not all for sale) at their site. They carry bamboo rhizome barrier.
